United Rehabilitation Services has been serving local infants, children, adults and seniors with disabilities or other special needs since 1956. URS was originally founded as the Dayton Chapter of United Cerebral Palsy and today provides programs and specialized therapy services to more than 3,000 individuals annually!
URS would like a new volunteer database. They spend many hours doing data entry, tracking the volunteer’s hours and volunteer information and the database will allow them to be more efficient and organized. This tool would help enhance the mission by creating a better system for volunteers and the Development Staff to utilize, allowing them to spend more time advocating for clients and raising money to support services.
The tool should allow the volunteers to have the ability to sign up for current volunteer opportunities through this application, giving them one place to sign up and fill out their paperwork in a more modern and streamlined way. They would like for this tool to replace their old contact database and Excel spreadsheet tracking where volunteer contact information and hours worked is tracked manually.
To be determined.
